Some applications, however, may require pins and rollers made out of softer materials.Those materials can be 300 series stainless steel, brass, aluminium, and mild steel.
Pins and rollers can also come in a variety of finishes if corrosion protection and/or aesthetics are important. They can be found as ground, metal-plated, black oxide, and electroless nickel.
